Ray : Yeah... you wanted a career in waste disposal, now you got one.

Woman : Can I get a Goddamn coffee over here?

Ray : Go over to F between Colinbus and Denver, there'll be a truck waiting there. Three guys, good guys, friends of mine. Main guy's name is Luca. Go.

ColinbusとDenverの辺りにトラックがいる。そこで3人の男が待ってる。俺の友達でいい連中さ。ルカって奴が仕切ってる。行ってきな。

Niko : Okay.

Ray : Hey, sugar. Come here. All this'll be over soon.

なぁこっちへ来いよ。すぐに片づく話さ。

Woman : YOu gotta stop me smoking this stuff, Ray. I'm fuckin' killin' myself.

Go and pick up the Trashmaster.

ゴミ収集車の所へ向かえ。

Niko : Luca?

ルカかい？

Luca : yeah, you Niko? This is Tunafish and Johnny Spaz. Tuna, Johnny, Niko.

Tuna or Johnny(以下TorJ) : Hey.

Niko : So, we're all friends now.

Luca : Alright, Tuna, John Boy, you got the threads. get on the back and get the trash.

まかせとけ。さぁ二人とも作業着に着替えて後ろに乗れ。ゴミ集めの方頼むぜ。

Luca : Niko, here's your gear. You're driving. That cool?

～回収作業～

Luca : First pickup's in Chinatown. Let's hit it.

最初の回収場所はチャイナタウンだ。行くぜ。

Drive to the first diamond pickup.

最初のダイヤモンド回収場所へ行け。

Niko : So, someone's been thrawing out a load of diamonds?

それで？積荷のダイヤモンドを誰かがほっぽりだしちまったってのか？

Luca : You could say that. Ray got that tweaker chick of his, the biker broad, you met her?

そんな感じだ。レイが囲ってる女でバイク乗りの奴がいてな、あんた会ったかい？

Niko : Yeah, she's pretty strung out.

あぁ。あのヤク中の女か。

Luca : Ray got her to gether friends to steal the ice off of some club owner guy. Her friends are the Lost biker gang.

レイはその女に仲間を集めさせたのさ。どこぞのクラブのオーナーからダイヤを盗み出すためにな。ちなみに彼女の仲間ってのはロストっていう暴走族みたいな連中のことだよ。

Niko : I think I worked with a member of that gang up on Bohan. He was called Johnny eh, something.

そういや、ボーハンでその連中と一緒に仕事をしたことあるな。確かジョニーとか何とかいったか…

Luca : Tuna, this is it. Grav the bag.

ツナ、これだ。運び込め。

Wait here while Tuna and Johnny make the pickup.

2人が積み込んでいる間、待機。

TorJ : Yo, Nicky! Openup the back.

よぉ、ニッキー！後ろ開けてくれ。

Press A to operate the trash compactor.
Open the back of the Trashmaster.

Aボタンを押すと後ろのハッチが開く。

TorJ : Got it, let's go.

よし、次行こうぜ。

Luca : Next one's on H street. Move out, Nicky.

次はHストリートだ。出発。

Drive to the second diamond pickup.

次のダイヤモンド回収場所へ向かえ。

NIko : Did these bikers get so fucked on meth that they threw the ice away?

そのバイク連中ってのが、ヤクのやり過ぎでダイヤをほっぽり投げちまったって話なのか？

Luca : Nah. It seems the club owner's got more connections than a subway line. He's in with the Aneclottis, the Dominicans up in Northwood, everybody.

いや…どうもそのクラブのオーナーってのがそれこそ地下鉄より深いコネクションがあるらしくってな。アンチェロッティやNorthwoodのドミニカ人、そこら中のやつらとつながってやがった。

Luca : Ray came up with this plan to keep a bit of business betweens and the robbery. The bikers is taking the heat for this shit.

レイは小金稼ぎの為にこの強盗まがいのプランを思いついたんだがな。おかげでバイク連中にしたら随分なプレッシャーさ。

Niko : This ain't the easiest way to pick this up, even if we don't want to attract any attention.

警戒されたくないのは分かるがな、こんな収集作業なんかよりもっといい方法あるんじゃないのか？

Luca : Yeah, me and Tuna was saying that before yous got here. We was saying tah there's a loy ofopprtunities for this to go wrong.

Luca : The bag could split. The diamonds could go missing real easy.

Niko : That's why we're going to be extra careful, right? We wouldn't want that to happen, would we?

それじゃ細心の注意が必要ってことだな。何も起こらなきゃいいけどよ。

Luca : Caurse not. You know how pissed Ray would get if he found out some diamonds were missin'.

その通りだ。もしダイヤモンドを紛失しようものなら、どんな騒ぎになるか分かったもんじゃねぇよ。

Niko : He has a temper?

癇癪持ちのレイってか？

Luca : Are you fuckin' kidding me? The manager of one of his waste depots was holding out on profits a couple a years back. Ray fed him to a dump truck.

ふざけんなよ…以前レイの持ってる廃棄工場の一つを任されてたマネージャーなんか、2、3年間の収益の隠蔽をしてたってんでダンプカーに放り込まれたぐらいなんだ。

Luca : There was this point where the sounds of his screams stopped and all you could hear was his bones crushin! then the pop of his skull goin', I nealy lost my lunch.

そいつの悲鳴が聞こえなくなったと思ったら、今度は骨が砕ける音がして…しまいにゃ頭蓋骨がポン！だ。メシなんか食えたもんじゃねぇぞ。

Niko : Nice.

Luca : This is the other one, Tuna. Grab it.

ここだ。ツナ頼むぜ。

TorJ : Shit, man. Looks like we got company.

Luca : Crap, someone's got wise to us. Let's get the hell outta here.

ちっ、俺達の様子に気づいた奴がいるな…とっととここからおさらばしようぜ。

NIko : This truck is not really going to outrun anybody, is it?

Luca : We're not losind this ice. I'm not having Ray cut my balls off because you don't think this truck's fast enough.

俺達はこいつ（ダイヤ）を失うわけにはいかねぇんだ。トラックが遅ぇってんで、レイにタマを抜かれるのなんかご免だぜ。

Niko : I didn't say it was impossible. It's just going to be difficult.

Tuna? : Good drivin', Nicky. I thought I was gonna be checking out for sure.

よくやってくれた、ニッキー。それにしても…ちゃんと調べたつもりだったんだが。

Niko : How'd they find us? I thought that we went to all this trouble so no one would know?

なんで俺達って分かったんだろうな？俺達のやってることなんて誰も知らないはずだろ？

Luca : I dunno. These diamonds is serious. Anyone who heard of 'em would want them. I ain't surprised we got rid of attention.

分かんねぇよ。まぁそれぐらいのダイヤだってことだ。こいつの噂を聞けば誰だって奪いにくるさ。別に不意をつかれたってほどでもねぇ、うまく切り抜けられたわけだしな。

Niko : You want me take the ice to Ray then?

そいつは俺がレイに届けたほうがいいのか？

Luca : Nah, me and Tuna will look after them. See them out from the trash. I sure hope we ain't lost any on the route. Things got shaken up pretty good back there.
