Francis : Were you followed?

• 後をつけられたのか？

Niko : Hey... strange seeing you here, officer McReary.

• やぁ…。McReary警部、こんな所で会うとはな。

Francis : I told you to come here, fucking maggot.

• 俺がここに来るように言ったんだ、くそ野郎。

Niko : You did? Why?

• あんたが？ なぜだ？

Francis : I know about you.

• お前の事を知っているからさ。

Niko : Know what?

• 何を知っているっていうんだ？

Francis : I know enough, boy.

Francis : I know you killed Mikhail Faustin. I know a group of Russians
want you dead. I know you ain’t no saint, boy.

• Mikhail Faustinを殺した事。ロシア人グループが、お前に死んでもらいたがっている事。お前が聖人じゃないって事を知っているのさ、ボーイ。

Niko : I don't know what you’re talking about, chief.

Francis : Do you think this is a town that can keep a secret?

Niko : I really don’t know what you're talking about.

Francis : The guy's smart. He arranged to do the exchange by the
Humboldt River off Silicon Street.

Francis : Said to call him from the viewpoint there.

• そこで奴に電話するように言われている。

Niko : Okay.

• 分かった。

Francis : Listen... I did what did... I made a mistake. That don't make
me the devil.

• なぁ、俺がやった事は…過ちだ。だが、悪魔にはなっちゃいない。

Francis : Now obviously I can't go, cause then he gets a picture of me giving him money, and I'm admitting guilt.

• 絶対に行く事は出来ない。行ったらやつは俺が金を渡す所を撮るだろうし、それこそ俺が罪を認めるようなものだ。

• そこに着いたら電話しろ。

～現場に到着～

（携帯電話）
Niko : I'm in the park, now what?

• 公園に居るぜ。どうすれば良い？

Francis : Alright. This guy told me to bring the money there and call him.

• 了解だ。やつは俺に、金を持って来て電話しろと言った。

Francis : That means he's somewhere close and he's got a phone. I'm gonna text you his number.

• つまり、やつはどこか近くに居て、携帯を持っているって事だな。やつの番号を言うぞ。

Francis : You've got to call him and keep a lookout for someone answering a phone. He won't be far.

• 電話をすれば、誰かが電話を取る。そいつを探してくれ。そう遠くには居ないはずだ。

指示 : "Call the blackmailer's cell and look to see who answers their phone. Keep him talking until you identify him."

• blackmailerの携帯に電話して、電話を取る奴を見つけろ。そいつを確認できるまで、話し続けろ。

～送られてきた番号に電話～

Blackmailer : Hello? Who's this?

• もしもし？お前は誰だ？

Niko : A friend. I'm calling about your exchange with McReary.

• 友人だ。McRearyの取引の件なんだが。

Blackmailer : Yeah, he better have my paper. I ain't fucking around.

• そうか。やつは金を持って来ているんだな。穏便に取引をしたい。

Niko : I'm sure he's got your money. Have you got the stuff he wants?

• もちろん金は持って来たさ。そっちはブツを持って来ているのか？

Blackmailer : Yeah. I got it. We're gonna make this shit happen. I don’t mess around, you know?

• もちろんだ。取引を始めようじゃないか。面倒は避けたい、そうだろ？

Blackmailer : Push me and this shit is all over Weazel News. I got them on speed dial.

• 俺を脅せば、こいつはWeazelニュースの一面を飾る事になるぜ。やつらの短縮ダイヤルを持ってんだ。

Niko : Really?

• 本当かい？

Blackmailer : Yeah, and there's a lawyer called Tom Goldberg who's real interested.

• そうだ、Tom Goldbergという弁護士が、今回の件に関して非常に関心を持ってる。

Blackmailer : he's hungry for McRealy's blood and shit. Yeah.

• やつは、McReallyの血に飢えてる。

Niko : good thing Francis is paying then.

• Francisがちゃんと金を払っていて良かったな。

Blackmailer : Call me when this exchange is going down. I don't like all the talking. Yeah.

• 取引が始まるときに電話をくれ。俺は会話好きじゃないんだ。

指示 : "Pick up the storage device."

• レコードを拾え。

指示 : "Take the photographs on the storage device to Francis."

• レコードをFrancisに届けろ。

～受け渡し～

Niko : Here. He's dead.

• 持って来たぞ。やつは死んだ。

Francis : Great, I can get rid of these now. I feel like a new man.

• そうか！スッキリしたぜ。生まれ変わった気分だ。

Francis : Not many people get a second chance like this. It's my redemption.

• こんなセカンドチャンスがもらえる奴はそうそう居ないぜ。救われたよ。

Niko : Your sins are absolved, I guess
