時は現代、都心近郊にある一見普通の公立中学校
『都立 樋串武中学校』
しかしそれは世間の奇異の目を掻い潜る為の仮の姿。
その実体は全国各地で急激に数を増やしつつある「能力者」の少年少女を保護し、現代社会に順応させる為の特殊教育を行なう、政府によって設立された『隔離施設』だった。
そしてある年、新生徒会の設立によって傷の舐めあいムードの立ち込めていた校内の様子は一変する。
八代目生徒会長となった『望月聖人』が、特殊能力者優位の社会を創る為、生まれ持った能力を、社会を蹂躙し新しく創り直す為に使っていくべきであると、総会の席で唱え始めたのだ。
この宣言に多くの生徒が賛同、「クーデター」の二文字が生徒達の目の色を変えてゆく。
―――･･･しかし、そんな生徒会の思惑に異を唱える者達の姿もあった。
「独善者」を自称する留学生、発火能力の持ち主である『武者小路里実』たちである。
そんな事をしていては特殊能力者の底が知れる、もっとスマートかつクレバーに社会進出を狙おうじゃないか、と言う信念のもと、彼らは『帰宅部』を結成。
生徒会率いる『中央委員会』との戦いを決意する。
これは反乱と破壊を望んだ望月率いる中央委員会と、忍耐･共存を望んだ帰宅部、そしてそんな彼らをあえて温かく見守る事を選んだ教員達の目が醒めるほどに香ばしい、『内部校争』の物語である。
***要するに厨二病臭香ばしいキャラクター達で、珍妙かつソウルフルな学園生活を や ら な い か ？
とかそんな感じ。
